Clive is 90 minutes away from his sixth title after beating the Aardvarks 4-1. Teemu Pukki’s cut-back wrong-footed the Abacus keeper to give Clive the lead at the break and an unlucky Ben White own goal doubled the lead. Ollie Watkins pulled one back to give Claymore an uncomfortable last 20 minutes before cleans from Martin Dubravka and Trevoh Chalobah rounded out the win. Trusted are still hot on the heels of the leaders after beating Fred 2-0. Richarlison got a penalty for Beef in first half injury time and Jeffrey Schlupp tapped in with nine minutes left to complete the scoring.

The Wateringhole Society snapped their recent poor run with a 3-0 win over San Dimas. Two excellent first-time shots from Harvey Barnes in the second half put Kiran’s team in control and an Emil Krafth clean sheet made it three. The CFJs trailed to Stanley early on, Joao Pedro finding the corner on six minutes, but recovered to win 5-2. Danny Welbeck dinked in the equaliser on 21 minutes, Rayan Ait-Nouri headed in ten minutes after the break and Yoan Wissa’s flick-header made it 3-1 just after the hour. Aaron hit back with a powerful Rico Henry header within two minutes. The Cows kept in the title race with cleans from Ben Davies and one off the bench courtesy of Vladimir Coufal.

The Artisans beat Nil Satis 4-1 to mathematically stay on the fringes of the title picture. Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s chest brushed Paul ahead after ten minutes but two Jarrod Bowen strikes and a Seamus Coleman own goal had Ben 3-1 up at the break. He saw the game out comfortably and added an Emerson Royal clean late on. Cheese Makers are sixth after beating Mega Bucks 1-0 through an Andy Robertson clean. Matthew is still not quite certain of a top half place though with two points covering 6th-10th.

Wheel Madrid have woken up in the last couple of weeks, coinciding with Jamie Vardy’s return, and thrashed YTFIB 4-0. James Maddison put the Wheelman ahead after being left unmarked and smacking high into the net on 18 minutes. Vardy added a goal in each half and Thiago Silva made it four with a clean. It’s a result that will probably condemn Julian to bottom place after Markian won 2-0 at the Muppets. Harry Kane broke the deadlock from the penalty spot deep into first half injury time and Fabian Schar made it 2-0 with a clean sheet four minutes after the interval.
