Before I completely bring down the curtain on last season let's have a look at some numbers.
You may remember I took a look at transfer dealings last year so here's something similar.
Income
A bit of business between teams meant transfer expenditure across the league was £331m. This was a £40m increase on the year before but is about average across the last seven seasons.
Two teams turned profits on their business but one was on the modest side.
Expenditure
I didn't think there was a dramatic amount of business but at £531,750,000 this was the second highest over the last seven seasons.
Eight teams kept losses below £15m while two exceeded £25m.
Total Business
Total losses across the league topped £200m for the second successive season at £200,750,000 but this is still £50m down on the 2006/07 record.
