Co-Ord Round-up Part Five - If we did things differently...

I'll repeat what I say every year,  I'm not suggesting we do! The way we compare scores against one other is what makes this the king of Fantasy Football games. But what if we did? The table below shows the finishing positions by number of 'contributions' (goals, cleans, saved penalties and own goals)*.

1. The Cow-Faced Juniors - 115 (same place as real table, 13 more contributions than last season)
2. Claymore Athletic FC - 108 (same place, six fewer contributions than last season)
3. Athletico Phoenix - 107 (same place, 16 more)
4. Trusted By Millions - 97 (three places higher, eight fewer)
5. You Know Your Boston Rock FC - 93 (five places higher, four more)
6. Aardvark Abacus - 92 (two places lower, four more)
7. San Dimas High School - 90 (two places higher, ten more)
8. Real Muppets - 84 (two places lower, six more)
9. The Fabulous Artisans - 76 (one place lower, 11 fewer)
10. Final Fantasy XI - 74 (five places lower, six more)
=11. Mega Buck Bandits - 66 (one place higher, one more)
=11. The Cheese Makers - 66 (three places higher, five fewer)
13. The Dead Parrots - 65 (two places lower, ten fewer)
14. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum - 55 (two places higher, nine fewer)
15. Fred West Landscape Gardening XI - 54 (same place 31 fewer)
16. YTFIB - 52 (three lower, one fewer)

What can we learn from the above? The CFJs were worthy champions and we can't argue with the top three. Boston Rock and San Dimas were unlucky to finish in the bottom half while Final Fantasy and YTIB punched above their weight.  Fred, the Artisans and the Parrots all had a double-figure drop in contributions than the previous season, Fred massively so.

*That's if they're correct of course. I'm not checking!
