A Muppets win over the Aardvarks has brought the league closer together with seven points covering the top 13. And what a goal it was that set Ryan on the way. If you haven't seen Pajtim Kasami's volley yet be sure to look it up on the youtube. You won't be disappointed. Danny Sturridge stooped to add another goal and complete the win. The win takes Ryan second and defending champions the CFJs are up to third after beating the Parrots. Mesut Ozil got two for Chris (including a rare header) and Samuel Eto'o opened his CFJs account. Jonny Howson replied for Dean but his top players from last campaign, Hart and Lambert, are not contributing right now.

The Artisans came from behind at FCK2 to go fourth. Another great goal here, this time from FCK2's Jack Wilshere, opened the scoring but Ben found cleans from Asimir Begovic and Billy Jones to get the three points. San Dimas' good start has come to a halt after suffering a 4-1 defeat to Trusted. Steven Gerrard's spot-kick opened the scoring for Beef but Jonathan de Guzman's excellent curling strike drew me level. Trusted won it late with a lucky shinner from Adam Lallana and then cleans from Michael Dawson and Robert Huth.

Final Fantasy have faltered a little too. Ceri's team fell 1-0 to the Phoenix. Robin van Persie with the only goal that relieves a bit of the pressure that Brian must have been feeling after his poor start. Claymore will also be relieved after a win at Mega Bucks. Sergio Aguero had Clive two ahead but he must have been sweating when Ricardo Vaz Te's overhead reduced the deficit. A Steven Fletcher own goal clinched the win for Clive and means he won't be bemoaning his luck this week!

Nil Satis seem a different proposition this season and fired in a big win against YTFIB. Andros Townsend, this week's Adnan Januzaj, scored with a cross for Paul but set-piece goals at the start of the second half from Phillippe Senderos and Dimitar Berbatov had Julian ahead. Paul's remaining goals came in a 25-minute spell and were scored by his remaining midfielders, Steven Pienaar, Oscar and Aaron Ramsey. If you want a big win though we have to go to new Cromwell Street. Fred even came back from two goals down after the Cheese Makers had made a great start through Kevin Mirallas and a brilliant Yohan Cabaye long-ranger. I don't know what Fred said at half-time but it worked. Two goals from Eden Hazard, a Wilfried Bony penalty and one from David Silva were followed by three cleans for the biggest win of the season so far.
