Early summer transfer round-up

We're not into the thick of the transfer window yet but there have been some notable exits from WSFFL teams.

You won't have missed Eden Hazard leaving Fred for Real Madrid for £90m.

But have you seen...

Lucas Perez (TWS) to Alaves for £2.07m
David Ospina (Muppets) to Napoli £3.15m
Ola Aina (Muppets) to Torino for £9m
Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving Claymore for Manchester United for £49.5m.
Matt Targett leaving Kiran's team to sign for Aston Villa for £14m

And one other big name departure was Vincent Kompany from Aardvark Abacus.

Ady signed Kompany from the pool in February 2010. The Belgian defender had previously been a £12m signing for Real Muppets in September 2008 but Ryan let him go in November 2009 after a 'controversial' re-cat to midfield.

After moving back into defence Kompany's most productive season for the Aardvarks was his first, 2010/11, with 15 cleans. He followed that up with three goals and 11 cleans the following season, and one goal and ten cleans 2012/13. That was the last time he notched a double-figure return as injuries started to take their toll.

The Aardvark icon never brought the title to the Aldi Arena, runner-up last season as as close as he got, but he did pick up some silverware. He led the team to their 2017/18 FA Cup triumph and last season's Charity Shield win.

Overall it was 14 goals and 73 cleans in Aardvark colours (Black and White hoops apparently) and the skipper leaves with his name carved into the Aardvark Hall of Fame.
