The CFJs stay unbeaten in the league with a 2-0 win over Stanley and Gracie. Both goals came in the first half, Rodrigo’s close range header came after 20 minutes and Miguel Almiron, who’s in the form of his life, danced through the SGU rearguard to make it two 20 minutes later. Fred stays in touch after beating San Dimas 3-1. Kurt Zouma’s glancing header (from a handball in the build-up!) gave the Gardeners the lead right on half-time. Taiwo Awoniyi doubled the lead ten minutes after the break and while Dwight McNeil narrowed the deficit six minutes from time Timothy Castagne’s clean made it 3-1.

It’s four points back to the Artisans who went down 2-0 at YTFIB. Bobby DeCordova-Reid was left unmarked to head Julian in front after 74 minutes and James Justin finished the scoring with a clean. The Muppets are up to fourth after edging Cheese Makers 3-2. Matthew’s team were still smarting from a 7-1 PCMT defeat to these opponents and raced into a two goal advantage inside 15 minutes thanks to a brace from Danny Ings. Erling Haaland replied with two of his own to level the game at the interval and Kevin De Bruyne’s brilliant 25-yard strike on 75 minutes separated the sides at the end.

The Wateringhole’s bid for back-to-back titles were dealt a blow by a 3-2 defeat against Wheel Madrid. Leon Bailey (for Wheels) and Harvey Barnes scored goals to send the game into half-time at 1-1 but the Wheelmen took charge after the break with James Maddison’s strike from the edge of the area and Jorginho’s penalty. Ezri Konsa’s clean for Kiran wasn’t enough to grab a point. Trusted and Claymore occupy sixth and seventh after Clive’s team won 5-1 in their clash. The Swordsmen were two up in 26 minutes, a brilliant half-volley from Youri Tielemans and a near-post header by Aleksandar Mitrovic. Leandro Trossard shot low from 18 yards to get Beef back into it but Claymore had cleans from Wout Faes, Thilo Kehrer and Aaron Cresswell to put a one-sided look on the scoreline.

Nil Satis fell behind to Harry Kane’s stooping header but bagged all three points against Markian through Anthony Gordon’s tap-in and a Seamus Coleman clean. Ady narrowed the gap to Dave after winning the ‘Bevan Derby’ 3-1. Granit Xhaka smashed in after 11 minutes to give the Bandits the lead but the second half was all Aardvarks. Ollie Watkins finished at the third attempt just before the hour to equalise and cleans from Jordan Pickford and Scott McKenna took all the points back to Glasgow.
