Fred hit the top last week and he certainly didn’t stop this week. His team stay two points ahead after sticking four without reply past Claymore, Clive’s team now on a Lampardesque run of six defeats in seven or two wins in 18 depending on how you like your stats. The CFJs stay in touch after they beat Markian 4-2 with Danny Welbeck getting a brace. The Cows preferring to chase than lead by the looks of things.

The Wateringhole stay third despite a 4-1 defeat to Stanley and Gracie. Pascal Gross scored an own goal last week but got two at the right end this week and Aaron is now six points off Kiran’s third place. The Artisans also scored four in putting Mega Bucks away 4-1, two goals from Martin Odegaard set Ben on the way.

Trusted fell behind to the Muppets (an Erling Haaland penalty) but turned it round to win 4-1. Goals from Schlupp and Jesus, cleans from De Gea and Webster getting the job done for Beef. The Aardvarks came from 2-1 down to beat Nil Satis 4-2. Son drew the scores level on 77 minutes before Jota and Richarlison struck in injury time.

Matthew is finally getting a tune out of Cheese Makers and they did a 4-0 job on YTFIB this week with four different goalscorers including a first for Carlos Vinicius. I’ve left my 2-1 win over Wheels until last. Jamie Vardy scored against his former club to give Paul the lead but two clean sheets made me the only winner this week not to score four.
