The Fabulous Artisans 3 v 1 Mega Buck Bandits

Holders the CFJs are into the quarter finals with a win over Cheese Makers. Gylfi Sigurdsson has been a bit of the forgotten man in Chris's midfield but scored either side of half time and Michu completed the win just after the hour. Last year's beaten finalists San Dimas are through too. Hatem Ben Arfa getting the only goal against Trusted.

The two teams with 100% records in the league were both knocked out. Final Fantasy took an injury time lead through Gareth McAuley but Fred turned it round through cleans from Nemanja Vidic and Alex Kolarov. Real Muppets also took the lead in their game, in the fourth minute through another Danny Sturridge goal, but cleans from Luke Shaw and Rio Ferdinand see Kevin progress in his first Cup competition.

Charity Shield holders the Parrots will get the chance to defend their title as they went out to the Aardvarks. Peter Whittingham scored on the hour and Matija Nastasic added a clean for Ady. Athletico Phoenix were the previous Charity Shield winners but Brian's team will get a crack at the PCMT this year. Robin van Persie's penalty and two cleans were too much for YTFIB.

Biggest win of the week was in the Evertonian derby but not the way you think. Nil Satis fell behind to Olivier Giroud's goal for Claymore but Steven Naismith levelled right on half time and Aaron Ramsey added a brace to see Paul through. The Fabulous Artisans have had the PCMT on their mantelpiece recently but Ben needed a replay to get past Mega Bucks thanks to Christian Benteke equalising a Curtis Davies goal.

In that replay it was a Loic Remy brace that put Ben in control and although Dave's team hit back with a Mark Noble penalty it was an excellent Sone Aluko volley that sent the Artisans through.

Quarter finals of the PCMT and Charity Shield are set for w/c 26 October.
