Final Fantasy took over the top spot of the league in week three last season and have done it again this time. The Okus Derby against Mega Bucks looked to be drifting towards a goalless draw until Yaya Toure curled home a free-kick in the final minute. Angel Rangel and Javier Garrido added cleans and Ceri will look to stay top longer than the three weeks her team managed last season. The Muppets are the only other team left with a 100% record after a 4-1 win over YTFIB. Ryan was two ahead inside ten minutes. Danny Sturridge steering in a close range header after four of those minutes and a deflection off Danny Gabbidon doubling the advantage. Dwight Gayle's penalty pulled one back 11 minutes from time for Julian but Joleon Lescott and Daniel Agger completed the scoring in Ryan's favour.

The Aardvarks are the other unbeaten team and are up to third after inflicting a second defeat of the campaign on Claymore. Clive took the lead in this one, Olivier Giroud guiding in at the near post midway through the first half, but Ady settled it with cleans from Phil Jagielka and Matija Nastisic. Kevin suffered his first defeat as a WSFFL boss, going down 2-0 to the CFJs. Chris's team still couldn't find the net but at least had two cleans from Michael Turner and Geoff Cameron to get his season up and running.

San Dimas suffered their first defeat too and Cheese Makers picked up their first win in the process. Matthew had lost his first two matches late on but it was roles reversed this week. Hatem Ben Arfa had slammed my team ahead with four minutes to go but cleans from Sebastian Bassong and David Santon made it a happy return journey to Cornwall for the Cheesers. The Phoenix suffered a heavy defeat last week but showed the sort of bouncebackability Brian would have called for when downing Trusted 3-0. Nathan Redmond got his first WSFFL goal on 68 minutes, Ashley Williams and Pablo Zabaleta added cleans. That's two defeats out of three for Beef.

The Artisans picked up their first win of the season, 2-0 over Nil Satis. Alvaro Negredo is looking like a good signing and he headed Ben's team ahead on 65 minutes. Leighton Baines got the clean to finish matters and keep Paul bottom for now. That's slightly misleading as the two teams above him, Fred and the Parrots, failed to play due to a nasty outbreak of Chelseaitis in the Fred camp. Symptoms include arrogance, adultery and inappropriate use of firearms.
