As the title is won let’s start at the bottom for a change. FCK2 now can’t finish bottom after beating the Wateringhole Society. Just one goal in the game - Harry Kane (who else?) with a clever near post flick to win the game. Kiran’s team could still finish bottom but Nil Satis and YTFIB are below them and in more strife. Nil Satis fell 2-0 to San Dimas, Victor Wanyama and David Silva getting my goals in the first half-hour. YTFIB crashed 4-2 at home to Mega Bucks. Dave’s side were three up through Wilf Zaha and two from Phillippe Coutinho which meant that Peter Crouch’s sneaky handball goal was only a consolation.

Right, back to the top then. There will be no top three place for the CFJs after another defeat to Fred. Chris led through goals from Fernando Llorente and Mesut Ozil but picked the wrong week to rest Alexis Sanchez and the champs hit back with three cleans to win. The Artisans continued their storm up the table thanks to a 5-1 win over Athletico. Riyadh Mahrez had a chance to level the match at 2-2 from the spot on 77 minutes but a double connection saw the goal ruled out and Ben run away from there.

The Muppets were held by Cheese Makers to take them down to third. A stunning Shinji Okazaki volley and a Luka Milivojevic penalty had Ryan 2-1 up with five minutes left but Nathaniel Clyne scored the equalising clean for Matthew who now can’t make the top eight. Trusted are just about there though after seeing off the in-form Aardvarks. Gabriel Jesus and Jay Rodriguez with first-half goals for Beef, Patrick Bamford (no, really) got one back for Ady but that was the end of the scoring. Olivier Giroud led the way with a brace for Claymore in a 4-1 win over Wheel Madrid. Clive has hauled himself up to seventh with a great second half of the season, Paul W has faltered but will finish no lower than seventh in his first campaign.
