Both teams approached the replay in good heart. Nil Satis scored four for the first time this season in the first game, the CFJs had won their previous two games in the competition after a replay.

Whether the open nature of the first match affected the two bosses is hard to tell but this was a tighter affair. Nil Satis opened the scoring halfway through the first half when Pedro made room for himself on the edge of the penalty area and fired home.

It took the CFJs until the 73rd minute to get back on terms. Willian tumbled under a challenge in the Nil Satis box then got up to convert the penalty.

Five minutes later Andros Townsend had a great opportunity to put Paul’s team back in front but blazed over with the goal at his mercy. The teams will try again to find a winner this weekend.
