Fred kept his nine-point lead with a 3-1 win at Mega Bucks. Eden Hazard raced away from the Bandits defence to make it 1-0 after 33 minutes but Dave was level soon after the break through Jose Holebas’ long range strike. Saloman Rondon finished off a great team move to make it 2-1 to Fred pretty much straightaway and the leaders finished it off with a Ryan Bennett clean. Ady is still second after a hard-fought 1-0 win over the CFJs, the Aardvarks taking the points thanks to a clean from Jamaal Lascelles.

The Wateringhole are on the same 25 point mark as the Aardvarks, also after a 1-0 win. Kiran got the better of Julian’s team when Raul Jimenez punished some dreadful YTFIB defending after 12 minutes. Nil Satis and Cheese Makers had both slipped after some great early season form but it was Paul S’ team that recovered with a big win. Henrik Mkhitaryan planted a header in the Cheese net after 28 minutes and got a second on 53. Dominic Calvert-Lewin had Nil Satis three up with 25 minutes left and Matt Doherty’s clean completed the rout. Matthew’s team have scored in just one of their last seven league games.

The Muppets inflicted a first home defeat on San Dimas. All looked good for me after 17 minutes when Pedro arrived unnoticed at the far post to put me in front but it was all Ryan’s team after that. Some great skill by Sadio Mane levelled the match and Luka Milivojevic proved he’s not all about penalties when he smacked in from 25 yards six minutes before the break. Player of the Month Raheem Sterling got the third and leaves my team six league games without a win. Athletico Phoenix have won four in a row and this week Wheel Madrid were the victims. Jamie Vardy had a late chance to put Paul W ahead but was denied by a great save and Arthur Masuaku got the winning clean for Brian.

Markian's recent progress was halted by the Artisans. The two teams went in to half-time at 2-2, two Danny Ings headers for Markian equalising efforts from Gerard Deulofeu and Jesse Lingard, Christian Eriksen put Ben’s side ahead for a third time in injury time at the end of the game and cleans from Lukas Fabianski and Patrick van Aanholt put a shine on the scoreline. Ben’s team are now off the bottom after winning three of their last four. Trusted inflicted a heavy defeat on Claymore despite Clive’s team taking the lead through a great Robert Snodgrass effort. Beef turned it round with two goals from Gabriel Jesus (his first of the season) and two late deflected shots from Xherdan Shaqiri.
