Looks like some teams came out of lockdown better than others.

Claymore’s lead is back down to five points after they were held 2-2 by the Muppets. Kasper Schmeichel’s penalty save gave Clive an early lead but he needed a Jonny Evans clean to earn a point after Kevin De Bruyne’s wonderful free-kick and Sadio Mane had given Ryan a 2-1 lead. Stanley Athletic are the team in second after dismissing Markian United 5-0. An Anthony Martial hat-trick, a Willian penalty and a Victor Lindelof clean all too much for the bottom club.

Can we rule Trusted out of a late charge after their 7-1 hammering of the Artisans? Eddie Nketiah’s first WSFFL goal (after a goalkeeping shocker) had Ben in front but Trent Alexander-Arnold’s superb free-kick five minutes later levelled the match. It was the 86th minute when the deadlock was broken - a first league goal for Joe Willock putting Trusted ahead and opening the door for five clean sheets. Beef’s team are six points off the top after this win, the Artisans drop to fourth. The Aardvarks are fifth after a 2-0 win at San Dimas. It wasn’t a classic. Lewis Dunk and Kieren Tierney with cleans for Ady.

The Wateringhole had a good win at Mega Bucks to close the gap on those opponents. A driving run from Christian Pulisic before the break and headers from Michael Keane and Raul Jimenez after got the job done for Kiran. Could YTFIB bag a top half finish this season? Julian’s team recovered after trailing to a stunning Fabinho strike with cleans from Charlie Taylor, Joe Gomez and James Justin to beat Cheese Makers.

Wheel Madrid continued their dreadful pre-lockdown form (they’re eight without a win) crashing 3-0 at home to Fred. Mo Salah opened the scoring a minute before the break, Lloris and Wan-Bissaka added cleans at the death. Beaten Cup finalists the CFJs suffered their second defeat in a few days. The only goal was a Tomas Soucek own goal that should have been ruled out but VAR missed a handball in the build-up. How’s your luck Cows, how’s your luck?
