A big loss for Claymore at the Gardeners has thrown the league wide open again. Bruno Fernandes got two goals for Fred who added cleans from Wan-Bissaka and Garcia. There’s life in last year’s champs! Another win for Stanley has reduced Clive’s lead to two points. Eyebrows were raised when Aaron paid £10m for Willian but the Brazilian scored two set-piece goals to take the game away from Nil Satis.

Trusted are right in the title shake-up too after edging Markian 4-3. One of the bottom club’s best performances of the season not quite enough. Markian led twice, at 2-1 and 3-2, but Beef had cleans from Coady and Mee (who’d scored earlier) to swing the final result in his favour. The Artisans are fourth but continue to come down with the Christmas lights as the saying goes. Two more goals from Danny Ings and a clean from Jonny gave Cheese Makers a 3-0 win over their old rivals. It’s one win in 11 for Ben.

San Dimas join the Artisans on 39 points after my team beat Wateringhole 3-0. Leander Dendoncker got his first of the season to set me on my way on 62 minutes, Lys Mousset added a second seven minutes later. My two biggest wins of the season have both been against Kiran’s team (sorry Kiran.) YTFIB jump to seventh after beating the team one place above them, Aardvark Abacus. Oli McBurnie broke the deadlock for Julian’s team with six minutes to go and Charlie Taylor’s clean confirmed the win.

The Muppets and Mega Bucks played out a seven goal thriller that Ryan’s team finished on the right end of. Three times the Muppets led, three times the Bucks replied but Dave’s team had no answer to James Tarkowski’s final, clinching, clean sheet. The CFJs joined Wheel Madrid on 30 points after beating those opponents 3-1. 2-0 and causing the Cows made life difficult for themselves with a Jan Bednarek own goal but Aymeric Laporte soon put things right with an early clean.
