Another change of lead at the top and it might be the crucial one.

Trusted are at the head of affairs with one week to go after their win and Stanley’s loss changed the situation at the top. Beef’s team beat the Wateringhole 2-1. A brilliant Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick and a Richarlison header either side of half-time gave Trusted a 2-0 lead, the brilliant Christian Pulisic pulled one back for Kiran but Beef’s team held on. At the same time Stanley collapsed 6-1 at home to the Muppets. A Raheem Sterling brace had Ryan in control early but Chris Wood pulled one back before the break. Phil Foden’s tap in on 63 minutes made it 3-1 and cleans came from Emerson, Alderweireld and Tarkowski as Ryan ran away with it.

Claymore couldn’t capitalise on Aaron’s slip as they went down 3-2 at the Artisans. Clive led twice in the last five minutes of the first half. First Daniel Podence finished off a great team move then Olivier Giroud slid in to restore the lead after Gini Wijnaldum slammed in an equaliser. The Artisans were level ten minutes into the second period when Roberto Firmino headed in a pinpoint cross. Ben's winner came from an Aaron Ramsdale saved penalty four minutes later. Ady guaranteed a top four finish with a 2-0 win over Nil Satis. The Aardvark counters coming through Stephens and Bertrand.

YTFIB are seventh but went down 3-1 to Mega Bucks. Julian’s team seem to be running out of steam after a great run. A James Justin own goal set him off on the wrong foot but a Naby Keita stunner levelled the game on 23 minutes. Michail Antonio scored from the spot to put Dave back in front in first half injury time (six goals in three games now for Antonio) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got the clincher six minutes from time. Cheese Makers have a shot at a top half finish after beating San Dimas 2-1. Danny Ings four minutes before the break and Jonny with a smart turn and finish on 68 minutes put Matthew two up, my team could only find a Boly clean in response.

The CFJs jumped above Fred by beating those opponents 2-0. Tammy Abraham took his league tally to ten with the opener on 61 minutes, Aymeric Laporte’s header doubled the Cows lead five minutes later and that’s how it stayed. Wheels and Markian had only earned 15 points between them in the second half of the season so was a 0-0 draw between the sides a huge surprise? The result confirms that Markian will break unwanted records for fewest points and and fewest wins. Worst. Team. Ever. Official.
