Report

The three previous FA Cup winners left in all made it through to the semi-finals.

The Muppets are in the hunt to win two cups this season after beating Wheel Madrid 3-1. Kelechi Iheanacho made a rare appearance for Ryan’s team and headed in a pinpoint cross on 17 minutes to open the scoring. Paul W levelled inside 10 minutes through Jorginho’s penalty but the Muppets were back in front seven minutes from half-time when Raheem Sterling was on hand to sidefoot home from close range. Wheels chances got tougher in first half injury time when David Luiz was sent off and Scott McTominay’s first time shot from 25 yards with 19minutes left made it 3-1 and finished the scoring.

Trusted last lifted the FA Cup in 2003/4 but are still in the hunt after beating the Wateringhole Society 3-1. Gabriel Jesus gave Beef a great start nodding in after a shot was parried straight to him but Kiran was level on 25 minutes when Marcus Rashford side footed in from 10 yards. Trusted were back in front three minutes after the break with a well-placed effort from Raphinha then the game went away from the Society when Bernd Leno was dismissed for handling outside the area. Adam Webster’s clean wrapped it up for Beef

Charity Shield winners San Dimas are still in the hunt for a fourth FA Cup win after a single clean sheet from Antonio Rudiger decided my tie with Cheese Makers. The Artisans and Stanley will try again this weekend after a 1-1 draw. All the action came late. A deft touch close in from Dan James looked to have won it for Ben three minutes into injury time but the celebrations had barely died down when Harry Maguire’s clean got the equaliser for Aaron.

In the replay - A flurry of goals either side of half-time brought this game to life. Mason Mount’s first-time shot from 15 yards put Ben ahead, a stunning free-kick from James Ward-Prowse brought Aaron level before Patrick Bamford pounced on a rebound to make it 2-1 to the Artisans. They didn’t relinquish the lead again and two cleans sees them comfortably into the semis.
