Three straight draws from the Artisans have allowed Fred to nudge in to top spot on goal difference.

Jarrod Bowen put Ben’s team ahead against Trusted three minutes after the break when given time to finish from 10 yards. Beef’s equaliser came in injury time, Trent Alexander-Arnold unleashing an unstoppable finish from the edge of the box and keeping the champs in distance of a repeat title. Fred strolled to a 4-0 win at Wheel Madrid. A Kurt Zouma header on the half hour was the only action before the break, Mo Salah, Gabriel Martinelli and Ferran Torres added goals in a 20-minute second half spell to secure the runaway win.

The Aardvarks are two points off top spot after beating title rivals the CFJs 3-1. Son Heung-Min smashed in at the far post to give the Ady the lead on 40 minutes and an instinctive Ollie Watkins shot doubled the lead before the break. Edinson Cavani’s diving header pulled one back for the Cows with 11 minutes left but the Aardvarks rounded things off with a Lewis Dunk clean. The Wateringhole Society were supping from the goal fountain again this week, beating Stanley 7-1. Aaron’s team scored first too, Kai Havertz shooting into the far corner. The lead lasted two minutes before Christian Pulisic smacked in at the near post to level. Matheus Pereira’s penalty put Kiran ahead at the break, Pulisic added his second with 12 minutes to go and the Society added cleans from Leno, Keane, Dias and Semedo.

The Muppets hang on to eighth but went down 3-2 to bottom-placed Markian. Kelechi Iheanacho’s late brace looked to have won it for Ryan but Sam Johnstone saved an injury time spot-kick to pull one back then cleans from Johnstone and Mason Holgate clinched the three points for Ian. Mega Bucks and Nil Satis are also on 29 points after Paul’s team beat Dave’s 4-0. Stuart Dallas was the Nil Satis star with excellent strikes at the end of each half, Rui Patricio and Seamus Coleman added the clean sheets.

Cheese and Claymore played out a goalless draw and both keep hopes for a top half finish. YTFIB are in the mix too after rolling San Dimas over 4-0. Julian’s signing of Jesse Lingard has proved inspired with the midfielder scoring twice more to put his side two up at half-time. A mazy run and finish from the fit-again Allan Saint-Maximin made it three and Ben Godfrey’s clean completed the rout.
