The Wateringhole retained top spot after coming back from two down to grab a draw with San Dimas.Thiago Alcantara’s deflected effort put me ahead before the break and £50m man Jadon Sancho’s composed finish five minutes after half-time doubled the lead. Bukayo Saka pulled one back after a great team move six minutes later and Tariq Lamptey’s clean sheet ensured the points were shared. Trusted are up to second after beating Fred 2-1. The Gardeners led courtesy of a controlled Gabriele Martinelli volley but it all turned round with the clean sheets from Diego Llorente and Conor Coady to decide it in Beef’s favour.

The Artisans drop to third after being held 1-1 by Nil Satis. Ben looked to have won it when Marc Guehi poked in at the near post five minutes into injury time but Paul S hit straight back with a clean sheet from Stuart Dallas. Claymore slip to fourth after a heavy defeat by the Aardvarks. Diego Jota struck twice from close range in the first half an hour (or thereabouts) and an Ashley Young clean ended any hopes of a Clive comeback.

Stanley Athletic have quietly made their way into the picture and edged the CFJs 1-0 this week. The only goal in this one came on 52 minutes when Virgil van Dijk turned in from 12 yards following a corner. Cheese Makers made it four league wins in a row for the first time since weeks 21-25 in the 2014/15 season. Matthew hit this landmark with a 1-0 win over the struggling Mega Bucks, Matt Targett’s drive form the left corner of the six yard box after 15 minutes the only goal of the game.

Wheel Madrid burst into life this week and saw off bottom-placed YTFIB 5-1. James Maddison was left alone to put the Wheelmen ahead on 16 minutes but Julian was back on terms after 33 minutes when Ilkay Gundogan tapped in. Two goals from Jamie Vardy before the break put Paul W back in control and he finished it off in the second half with a Jorginho penalty and a strike from John McGinn from what we might have to call ‘John McGinn territory’. It’s two wins in a row for Markian who shocked the Muppets 2-0. Clean sheets from Marc Cucurella and Brandon Williams lift Ian up to 14th.

After a week off the top the Wateringhole Society returned to the summit with a 5-1 win at the Muppets. Ryan's keeper should have done better with Ivan Toney’s opener after 11 minutes but Sadio Mane’s header levelled the game six minutes before the break. Kiran’s team bossed the second half, Maxwell Cornet scoring another stunner just after half-time Then Sergio Reguilon and Christian Pulisic added close range finishes within two minutes of each other. Ezri Konsa rounded off the win with a clean. The Artisans slipped to third after a 2-1 loss to Cheese Makers. Chris Wood nodded Matthew ahead after 27 minutes but Marc Guehi slammed in an equaliser four minutes before the interval. Tyrone Mings settled the game in Cheese Makers favour two minutes from time, running on to a clearance and making no mistake.

Claymore are in second spot following their 2-0 win over Wheel Madrid. Teemu Pukki’s smart early header set Clive on his way and Romain Saiss doubled the advantage with a clean. Wheels are crying out for summer signings Varane and Lukaku to regain fitness. Trusted were three up inside 20 minutes against YTFIB and went on to win 6-2. Che Adams’ first of the season on four minutes was soon followed by David De Gea’s penalty save and Ben Mee’s header. Julian hit back through Dan James and Allan Saint-Maximin before they were carved open for Bernardo Silva to make it 4-2 four minutes from time. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Connor Coady added cleans for Trusted.

San Dimas finally found their scoring boots to see off the CFJs 4-0. Well, Antonio Rudiger found his scoring head on 14 minutes, N’Golo Kante was given the freedom of Tesco Car Park Stadium to run forward and shoot in 14 minutes later and Joelinton added a third against one of his old clubs to make it three at the break. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with one of the less sweet strikes you’ll see, completed a miserable afternoon for the Cows. Stanley Athletic got the better of Aardvark Abacus 4-3 after trailing three times. Jamaal Lascelles headed Ady in front, Rico Henry replied. Diogo Jota’s calm finish made it 2-1 Lascelles unlucky own goal brought the scores level. Ollie Watkins brilliant solo goal made it 3-2 with six minutes left but Joao Pedro drilled in at the near post two minutes into injury time and Ben Chilwell’s clean won it for Ady.

Fred can’t afford to lose many more if he’s going to retain the title after a 3-1 reverse to Nil Satis. Josh King’s early sidefoot finish put Paul S in front and it took until the 73rd minute for Mo Salah to level. Rather than kick on for the points Fred went behind again six minutes later when Grant Hanley headed in a corner and Nil Satis completed the win with a Jose Sa clean. Markian climbed off the bottom and dragged their opponents into the basement battle with a 2-0 win at Mega Bucks. A rocket shot from Rodri put Ian ahead on 55 minutes and a Davinson Sanchez clean completed the rare win.
