The Artisans returned to their early season form with a 5-0 win over Mega Bucks. It was only 1-0 at the break, Raheem Sterling with an easy task at the back post, and it fell apart for Dave’s team after the hour. Jarrod Bowen headed in a corner and two minutes later Nicolas Jackson was quickest to a rebound. An early clean from Billy Gilmour made it four and Diogo Dalot’s clean was the icing on the cake for Ben. There’s a new name in second after this week’s games, Markian United. Ian’s team fought back to beat Wheel Madrid 3-2. Lucas Paqueta had given Ian the lead after just three minutes but he trailed by half-time. Thiago Silva’s header from a corner and then John McGinn’s drilled shot into the corner had Paul ahead until the 74th minute. One of his old players, Oleksandr Zinchenko, half-volleyed the equaliser and then Rodri’s shot deflected off Silva to give Ian the win with four minutes left. Wheels have lost five games by a single score.

Stanley and Gracie have suddenly appeared in third, Aaron’s team beating Fred 4-3. The defending champions were 2-0 up at the break through Taiwo Awoniyi’s follow-up tap-in and Mo Salah’s shot across the keeper. Dominic Solanke pulled one back on the hour but Salah made it 3-1 with a far post header. Solanke’s close range flick narrowed the gap and he turned the game round with cleans from Harry Maguire and Virgil van Dijk. The Aardvarks have slipped to fourth after being on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller with the CFJs. Brennan Johnson and an Eberechi Eze penalty gave the Cows the perfect start with goals in the first five minutes. Antonee Robinson’s unlucky own goal made it 3-0 before the half hour mark. Josh Brownhill’s deflected shot brought it back to 3-1, an Ollie Watkins close range effort made it 3-2 and an early Max Aarons clean was the equaliser. The 74th minute saw goals from both sides, Odsonne Edouard for Chris, Diogo Jota for Ady but it was Tomas Soucek’s header with two minutes left making it 5-4 to the CFJs that was the final and decisive counter.

Claymore eased past YTFIB 3-0 and are sixth. Manuel Akanji’s thumping header in first half injury time broke the deadlock, Abdoulaye Doucoure added the second straight after the break and Raul Jimenez made it three from eight yards with twenty minutes left. The Wateringhole Society went one down to Nil Satis in the first minute but came back to win 2-1. Vitali Mykolenko was Paul’s goalscorer but a fantastic run and 1-2 finish from Simon Adingra levelled the game five minutes later. William Saliba's second half close range header was the winner for Kiran.

Trusted round out the top half after a 3-1 win at Cheese Makers. A brave Leandro Trossard header opened the scoring for Beef just before the interval but an unlucky Adam Webster own goal levelled the game on 74 minutes. Cole Palmer’s penalty deep in injury time and a Trent Alexander-Arnold clean decided the game in Trusted’s favour. San Dimas beat Real Muppets 3-2 to edge away from the bottom two. Ryan’s team were two up, that man Erling Haaland with a first half penalty and sliding in the second straight after half time. Victor Lindelof lashed in on the hour to get me back in it. Anthony Elanga’s first time strike four minutes later was the equaliser and Lindelof’s clean completed the fightback.
