he Artisans press on at the top with a 4-2 win over YTFIB. Julian was in front courtesy of Alex Iwobi but Ben had turned it round by the 26th minute thanks to an excellent free-kick from Raheem Sterling and Evan Ferguson’s placed shot from the edge of the area. Jamal Lascelles headed in on the hour to make it 3-1 but Julian wasn’t done - Hwang Hee-Chan’s penalty bringing it back to 3-2 with 15 minutes left. Aaron Ramsdale was back in favour at the Artisans to get the clean to finish the scoring. Markian keep on the heels of the leaders with a 3-1 victory at Trusted. With just three minutes on the clock Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring for Ian with a spectacular overhead kick (the second-best goal of the weekend.) Ten minutes later Alexander Isak was given too much space in the area to level for Beef. The next goal came late. The unfortunate Dara O’Shea putting into his own net with four minutes to go to restore the Markian lead and that was quickly followed by by an Oleksandr Zinchenko clean to round out the win.

The Aardvarks seem to be over their blip and are back up to third following a 4-1 win over Cheese Makers. Marcus Tavernier scored twice and Ollie Watkins fired into the corner on the hour to make it 3-0. Matthew found a lifeline with seven minutes left when Anthony Gordon cut in to score but it proved a false dawn and Andre Onana’s clean made it 4-1. SGU drop a place after being held to a 1-1 draw by bottom place Wheel Madrid. Michael Olise’s stunning solo run and shot (goal of the weekend) gave Paul the advantage with 16 minutes left but Harry Maguire’s clean grabbed Aaron a point.

Claymore lose ground on the leaders after a 1-1 draw at the Muppets. Matheus Cunha headed Clive in front after 22 minutes but that lead lasted only five minutes before Erling Harland was given just enough space to take a touch and fire in the leveller. The CFJs leapfrog the Wateringhole after beating those opponents 1-0. Tomas Soucek volleyed home the only goal of the game in injury time.

Mega Bucks are yo-yoing this season but bounce back to ninth with a 1-0 win over Nil Satis. Pau Torres’ header, deep into first-half injury time, was the only goal. A 4-2 win for San Dimas at Fred sees my team pull further away from the bottom two. Anthony Elanga’s header gave me the early lead, Gio Lo Celso hit back with a deflected shot. Joelinton latched on to a defensive error to put me back in front on 61 minutes, Morgan Gibbs-White got Fred’s second equaliser from the spot a quarter of an hour later. Kai Havertz squeezed in a far post header to put me in front for a third time on 89 minutes and a Victor Lindelof clean finally finished the game in my favour.
