Fred’s lead is back to four points after the weekend games. The Gardeners saw off FCK2 3-1 with cleans from Mawson and Dawson proving the difference. The Muppets lost to the resurgent Artisans despite scoring first through Sadio Mane. Christian Benteke’s calm dink (you’ve got to love a dink) levelled the scores before Maya Yoshida got Ben’s winning clean to send his team to fourth.

Other results mean that Wheel Madrid are back up to third. Jamie Vardy’s stunning volley a worthy winner against Trusted who slip to fifth. Athletico are unbeaten in eight but five of those have been draws to stifle Brian’s title chances. This week’s draw was a goalless one against YTFIB which takes Julian up a place.

The CFJs recent run of good form came to a grinding halt at Mega Bucks. Zaha and Coutinho put Dave two up in half an hour and although Mustafi pulled one back on 53 minutes for Chris but Antonio Valencia’s clean wrapped it up for the Bucks. Claymore are still rampaging there way through the second half of the season and are surely favourites for a top eight finish. This week Clive’s team bulldozed Cheese Makers 5-1 with Fabregas, Aguero and Ranocchia on target.

San Dimas needed cleans from Daniels and Bailly to come from behind against the Wateringhole Society who had led through Wilfrid Ndidi’s first goal for the club which may well prove to his best. Nil Satis and the Aardvarks had only one game between them this year so it would’t have been a surprise if both teams had lost*. Ady came out on top. Son’s breakthrough on 77 minutes leading to a two more cleans and a 3-0 win.

*it would.
