Report

Was it down to late season fatigue? Or two teams wary of each other’s good form. Or was it because I suggested it would be a cracker? Whatever the reason it wasn’t a classic but Ben won’t mind as his team edged out Trusted by a solitary clean.

Jarrod Bowen thought he’d fired the Artisans ahead ten minutes into the second half only to be denied by VAR for offside. Patrick Bamford missed a great chance to win it from six yards out and it looked like going to a replay until January signing Craig Dawson got the deciding clean for the Artisans.
