1st: The Wateringhole Society (up five places on last season)
Kiran led the league for 21 weeks but only took the title in the last seconds of the season after a poor run of six without a win in April and May. The defence was Kiran's strong point as Marcus Rashford and Raul Jimenez failed to fire. Maxwell Cornet was excellent when fit and the Dejan Kulusevski signing was inspired. Might need a striker and a keeper to back this up but don't bet against it.
What happened to last year's Star Player? He won it this year too.
Star Player: Ruben Dias (13 clean sheets)
2nd: The Fabulous Artisans (same place)
A third runner-up spot in six years for Ben. Was always chasing after a run of one point from 18 in November and December and was denied on goal difference at the end. Has a solid squad without too many real stars but Jarod Bowen could be about to step up a level and the manager will hoping Eddie Nketiah stays on to lead another title push next season.
What happened to last year's Star Player? Kyle Walker wasn't used as much and just missed out to...
Star Player: Mason Mount (nine goals)
3rd: Claymore Athletic FC (up twelve)
Almost a dramatic turnaround after Clive's worst-ever 15th place year but he was ultimately denied in the final knockings of the season. £17m Cristiano Ronaldo looked a risky signing but showed he still had some of his old magic and was ably supported by Teemu Pukki. With question marks over Ronaldo and Pukki already gone it might take another rebuild to keep Claymore on this page of the round-up.
What happened to last year's Star Player? Aaron Cresswell was a long way short of...
Star Player: Cristiano Ronaldo (17 goals)
4th: Trusted By Millions (down one)
A third straight year in the top four and nearly a fourth title. Beef took two MOTMs this season and each time they were followed by three straight defeats. Curse indeed! The top counter-scorer this year looks to have signed a good one in Luis Diaz but might need to persuade Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison and Emmanuel Dennis to stay if he's to make the top step again.
What happened to last year's Star Player? He was this year's Star Player too.
Star Player: Trent Alexander-Arnold (one goal, 15 cleans)
