A 0-0 draw for the Artisans at Cheese Makers means the second and third-placed teams gain ground on Ben’s team. The Muppets beat the Aardvarks 1-0 with a second-half Jurrien Timber header to close the gap to four points. The Wateringhole Society edged out Mega Bucks 3-2, Ruben Dias’ clean proving the winner after Dave’s team had fought back from two down.

SGU missed the chance to go fourth after going down 3-2 to YTFIB. Aaron’s team were two up inside 25 minutes only for Julian to turn it round before half-time with goals from Alex Iwobi, Kevin Schade and Antoine Semenyo. Big winners of the week were the CFJs who saw off Nil Satis 5-1. Two goals from Mikkel Damsgaard and strikes from Cows stalwarts Danny Welbeck and Tomas Soucek doing most of the damage.

3-2 was a popular score this week, Claymore blew a two goal lead against Markian but picked up the winner late on when Thierno Barry and the ball were bundled into the net by one of Ian’s defenders. Clive’s team take over from San Dimas in eighth after my team played out a goalless draw against Wheel Madrid. A brilliant Morgan Gibbs-White strike gave GC TotW a 1-0 win at Trusted and moves Ollie’s team to within one point of Beef’s.
