The Muppets keep the top spot but lose their hundred percent record after an entertaining 3-3 draw with YTFIB. Julian’s team went ahead thanks to Lewis Miley's unfortunate deflection of a blocked shot and were 2-1 up at the break. Malick Yalcouye fired Ryan level on 51 minutes but Kevin Schade’s second goal five minutes later had YTFIB back in front. Erling Haaland scored a controversial equaliser. You might have read about it. SGU are second and a point behind after a 1-0 win at GC TotW. Aaron fielded his new £122m front line but it was Virgil van Dijk that got the winning clean.

The Aardvarks are third leading a clutch of teams on seven points. Ady’s team nabbed a 3-3 draw with the CFJs thanks to a Micky van de Van clean after the Cows looked to have turned the game round thanks to Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal on 75 minutes. Claymore are fourth after going down 2-0 at home to Mega Bucks to end their unbeaten run. An early Pau Torres clean was followed by one from Maxime De Cuyper to see Dave safely in mid-table.

San Dimas drop to fifth after losing 3-0 to the Artisans. Ben’s title win last year was built on a rock-solid defence and it was three clean sheets (Calafiori, Guehi and Kerkez) that got the job done this week. Wheel Madrid are sandwiched between those teams after a 3-0 win at Markian. The last time Paul’s team were in this lofty a position was Week 2 in the 23/24 season. The action came late with a first WSFFL goal from Alysson followed by a clean and a goal of the season contender from Lewis Dunk.

Cheese Makers xC* had shown that they were a bit unlucky not to pick up a win before this week and they got off the mark against Nil Satis. Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s first half goal for Paul S was cancelled by David Raya’s penalty save and August POTM Joao Pedro got Matthew’s winner. Similar could be said for the Wateringhole Society who picked up their first points with a win over Trusted. Liam Delap looked to be adding to Kiran’s poor start with his goal straight after the break but injury time strikes from Zian Flemming and Bukayo Saka from the spot were followed by cleans from Ruben Dias and Ezri Konsa to give the score a one-sided look.

*Expected Counters. No questions please, I just made this up.
