WSFFL Title Race - The Run-in (part one)

With respect to the teams that can mathematically take the title I think we're down to a two-horse race. Boston Rock may have to win every game to have a chance to overcome current leaders Aardvark Abacus.

Can Sheriff's team do it? Here's what they face...

Week 25 - Nil Satis Nisi Optimum (10th)
Week 26 - The Fabulous Artisans (7th)
Week 27 - Mega Buck Bandits (14th)
Week 28 - York's Returning Glory (12th)
Week 29 - Claymore Athletic FC (8th)
Week 30 - Final Fantasy XI (16th)

On the surface, it doesn't look too bad with no team from the current top six between now and the end of the season. However, Dynamo and York's are capable of turning in great performances against top teams. Nil Satis, the Artisans and Claymore have all been tough to beat.

The 'Sky Heroes' are looking to do the double over all their remaining opponents with the exception of Claymore who notched a 3-2 victory in week 11.

If Sheriff can take 17 points from these games then Ady will need to win four of his last seven to come out on top.

It'll be a tall order for Boston Rock to turn this round but you don't count Sheriff out until the maths are against him. And Ady's run-in? I'll tell you next time.
