The Aardvarks have seen off another rival in the title race, the Artisans falling 6-3 to Ady’s all-conquering team this week. Martin Odegaard tapped Ben in front after just five minutes and an exciting first half ended 2-2 after Ollie Watkins’ brace for Ady and Nicolas Jackson’s header for the Artisans. Ben White’s goal 13 minutes after the break was soon equalised by Kurt Zouma’s header from a corner. The Aardvarks got away in the last few minutes. Axel Disasi thumped a header in for 4-3, Son raced away and placed his shot in the corner for 5-3 and Antonee Robinson’s clean finished the game. The Wateringhole Society took second place off Claymore after beating Clive’s team 1-0, a tight game settled by William Saliba’s clean sheet.

SGU are the third team on 41 points after a 3-1 win at YTFIB. Harry Wilson scored one of his specials on 21 minutes to put Aaron ahead and an early Kieran Trippier clean doubled the advantage. Julian pulled one back when Antoine Semenyo’s deflected effort found the net with two minutes left before SGU clinched it with a clean from Virgil van Dijk. The CFJs are sixth after seeing off bottom club Nil Satis 3-0. Yoanna Wissa's spectacular scissor kick broke the deadlock with 21 minutes left, Tino Livramento’s solo effort doubled the lead in injury time and the win was rounded off by Gabriel’s clean.

It’s eight points back to Trusted in seventh after Beef’s team went down 4-2 to Fred. Trusted had barely finished celebrating Alexander Isak’s 14th-minute header when Gabriel Martinelli’s shot was deflected in to level. Beto made up for a missed penalty when he headed Trusted back in front 11 minutes after the break only for Cristian Romero to head another equaliser for Fred with ten minutes left. The outgoing champions took the win thanks to cleans from Jakub Kiwior and Ibrahima Konate. The Muppets beat Markian 4-2 to jump over them to eighth in the table. After falling behind to Justin Kluivert’s early goal Ryan took control with an excellent Phil Foden brace and Erling Haaland’s goal in second-half injury time. A controversial Darwin Nunez flick header gave Ian brief hope before Illya Zabarnyi’s clean made it safe.

Cheese Makers are tenth after cruising past Wheel Madrid 4-0. Anthony Gordon was alert to convert a loose ball after 33 minutes and an early Andrew Robertson clean plus full game cleans from David Raya Martin and Timothy Castagne brought an end to Matthew’s poor run. After eight straight defeats Mega Bucks made it two wins out of three, beating San Dimas 4-2. My team were two up as well. Kai Havertz and Rodrigo Muniz had me well on top just after the half hour only for Declan Rice to get one back just after the break. Dave won it late courtesy of Lucas Digne’s header on 89 minutes, Edson Alvarez’s dink five minutes into stoppage time and a clean from Milos Kerkez.
