It took the Aardvarks until the 86th minute to break down Markian's defences when Son Heung-Min’s deflected effort found the net. Ady’s team added a Ben White clean for the 2-0 win and then saw other results go their way. Those results see the CFJs up to second after beating SGU 4-2. It looked like finishing level until Kristoffer Ajer slammed in in the ninth minute of injury time and Gabriel followed up with a clean.

The Wateringhole drop to third after a 6-3 defeat to Trusted. Beef’s team had braces from both Alexander Isak (two pens) and Cole Palmer (one pen) as well as goals from J-P Mateta and Dara O’Shea. The Artisans beat Claymore to go past Clive’s team into fifth. Moussa Diary and Jarrod Bowen got Ben’s goals, a clever Chris Wood header wasn’t enough for Clive.

The Muppets and Cheese Makers played out a goalless draw that pundits refer to as ‘one for the purists.’ San Dimas are up to ninth after a 6-0 win at bottom club Nil Satis. I was already 2-0 up in injury time when Seamus Coleman haplessly chested into his own net quickly followed by a Rodrigo Muniz scissor kick.

Fred was held 1-1 by YTFIB, Julian’s first point since December. Mo Salah opened the scoring on 65 minutes, Bobby Decordova-Reid fired low into the corner with four minutes left. Ben Brereton Diaz scored his first WSFFL goals to pull the game back to 2-2 but ended on the losing side when Pau Torres got the deciding clean for Dave.
