The Artisans continue to be the team to catch and notched up a 3-1 win over SGU to keep a five point lead. Harry Wilson’s measured finish had given Aaron the lead just after the hour but Ben soon levelled with an early Riccardo Calafiori clean sheet. And it was cleans, from Marc Guehi and Conor Bradley keep the Artisans at the head of affairs. The CFJs saw off the October MOTM Beef’s side 4-1 to stay second. Early goals from Danny Welbeck and Viktor Gyokeres had the Cows two up inside 15 minutes but Trusted got back into it through Jean-Philippe Mateta’s well-guided header. It was Tomas Soucek who made the game safe in the seventh minute of second half injury time and Gabriel added a clean sheet.

The Muppets are third and look to have improved on their title-winning form from last season. A large part of that is down to Erling Haaland who scored twice in a 4-0 win over San Dimas. That’s 11 in the league now for the Norwegian, he’s well on track to break his own record*. Amad Diallo added a late third and Reece James’ clean rounded off the win for Ryan.  Markian leapt up to fifth after dispatching the Aardvarks 3-0. Ryan Sessegnon broke clear to open the scoring on nine minutes and Lucas Paqueta’s shot from the edge of the are doubled Ian’s lead ten minutes before the break. Maxence Lacroix added a clean for good measure.

The Wateringhole Society lost ground after going down 3-0 to a Cheese Makers side that appear to be waking from their early season slumbers. All the scoring was done inside 34 minutes. It took just four of those minutes for Jacob Murphy to rifle home and half an hour later both Casemiro and Joao Pedro were on target for Matthew. Mega Bucks are up to seventh after a 1-0 win over Wheel Madrid. Declan Rice getting the only goal with a thumping header after 35 minutes. All five of Wheels’ league defeats have been by a single counter.

GC TotW continued their good week with a 3-0 win at Claymore. Ollie’s team were gifted the lead at the end of the first half when Mohamed Salah latched on to a terrible pass from the Claymore keeper. Morgan Gibbs-White added a second straight after the break and Cristian Romero’s clean wrapped up the points. There were two own goals in the Nil Satis/YTFIB game before Julian ended up 2-1 winners. Sven Botman slid into his own net at the end of the first half, Nathan Collins headed into his six minutes after the interval. Ryan Gravenberch’s deflected shot on 58 minutes proved to be the YTFIB winner.
