Claymore Athletic FC 1 v 1 Trusted By Millions
Mega Buck Bandits 2 v 5 Markian United
Nil Satis Nisi Optimum 2 v 3 The Fabulous Artisans
San Dimas High School 1 v 1 Garth Crooks' Team of the Week
Stanley and Gracie United 0 v 0 Wheel Madrid
YTFIB 2 v 4 The Wateringhole Society
We have a change at the top with The Fabulous Artisans taking over following their 3-2 win at Nil Satis. Ben’s team came from two down as well with cleans from Riccardo Calafiori and Matthijs De Ligt either side of an emphatic Nick Woltemade penalty. The CFJs are still unbeaten but lose top spot following a 1-1 draw at the Aardvarks. Mathys Tel scored for Ady. Gabriel’s clean kept the Cows unbeaten.
The Wateringhole Society needed clean sheets to get past YTFIB 4-2. All the action came in the second half, Cody Gakpo and Bukayo Saka added a penalty only for Antoine Semenyo to score twice for Julian and level the match. But not for long. Malick Thiaw and Ruben Dias cleans sent Kiran home with the three points. The Muppets are up to third after a 3-0 win at Cheese Makers. Erling Haaland opened the scoring (his tenth of the season), Iliman Ndiaye added a second half penalty and Jurrien Timber a clean to finish the scoring. The result drops Matthew to the foot of the table.
Another big win for Markian sees them up to fifth. Mega Bucks were seen off 5-2 with Ian’s team having five different scorers. Moises Caicedo scored one of his occasional rockets and Ian will be delighted to see Benjamin Sesko poaching another. San Dimas are seventh after a 1-1 draw with GC TotW. Jack Grealish looked to have won it for Ollie in injury time when he stuck his leg in the way of a clearance but the ever-reliable Dan Burn got my equalising clean.
Trusted are off the bottom after a 1-1 draw at Claymore. Daniel Munoz looked to have won it for Clive but Estevao slid in at the death to grab Beef a point. SGU and Wheel Madrid played out the first game this season where nothing happened.
