Ady’s reign of terror continues this week with just the 7-1 win over SGU. It’s not even his biggest win this season for Heaven’s sake! Olly Watkins continued his chase for the Golden Boot with two headers, Morgan Rogers got his first WSFFL goal and it was 5-0 before Olly McBurnie could muster a reply for Aaron. The CFJs are at least trying to keep the Aardvarks honest. The Cows beat San Dimas 4-2 to keep the gap to eight points. My team had come from behind twice, James Ward-Prowse scoring straight from a corner to make it 2-2 with six minutes left, but Odsonne Edouard’s close finish and Gabriel’s clean won it for Chris and co.

The Wateringhole are top of the teams that can probably forget it now. Kiran’s side surprisingly going down 4-1 at Markian. TWS led through a Bukayo Saka spot-kick before Pedro Porro lashed in to level, Oleksandr Zinkchenko picked up a clean and Lucas Paqueta a penalty in the space of minute, and Fabian Schar’s clean got Ian back to winning ways. The Artisans lost 2-0 to Cheese Makers. Rico Lewis opened the scoring for Matthew two minutes after the break and the returning Bryan Mbeumo volleyed in the second. How the Cheese have missed him this season.

Nil Satis saved their best performance of the season for the ‘Bluenose Derby’ and thrashed Claymore 4-1. Clive led through Chris Wood but when the striker missed a sitter the game turned. Dominic Calvert-Lewin charged down a clearance to level and three Nil Satis cleans sees Paul S into double figures for points. If you want entertainment this season then it’s probably Trusted that you’re after. There have been more goals in Beef’s games than any others (you have to go back to February to find a game with less than five goals) and there was a 3-3 draw with Mega Bucks this week. Beef will be kicking himself for blowing 2-0 and 3-1 leads, Dave rescuing a point with Carlton Morris’ last minute goal and a Martin Dubravka clean.

The Muppets followed up their Cup semi-final win with a 5-3 victory at Fred. Midweek hat-trick hero Phil Foden sat this one out and left stand-in Kevin de Bruyne to score twice. Erling Haaland was also on target but Ryan needed a James Tarkowski clean to make sure of the win. Wheel Madrid are within striking distance of 14th place after beating YTFIB 1-0. The only goal coming on 11 minutes when Thiago Silva stroked in first time from a corner.
